There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a Sioux Falls real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.

I was born in Sasebo Japan to Navy parents and graduated from high school in Tyndall, SD. (my dad was from Avon -10 miles away). I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Mngmnt. from the University of Sioux Falls and spent over 30 years in the food service industry. I feel that I am a well balanced business person by being part of many non profit organizations and donating my time and energy to different associations.
My wife, Kris, is a speech pathologist for the Sioux Falls School District and is the South Dakota Speech and Hearing Association past state president.
We have 3 children - Audra is married, has a son and lives in Lawrence KS. Julianne is a nurse and lives in Sioux Falls with our granddaughter, Nadia. Sam is our youngest and is employed by Naatjes Concrete of Sioux Falls.

Some of my community services have included Rotary, volunteer fire fighter, track and field fund raising campaigns, past school board member (Tyndall), youth wrestling and Asst. coach, Knights of Columbus as well as various committees and I am currently a local director for the Realtor Association of the Sioux Empire (RASE).
6. I am proud to be associated with thē real estate company , which many people, myself included, believe to be one the finest real estate agencies in Sioux Falls. thē real estate company has been part of the Sioux Empire for over 35 years.
