(New) Sioux Falls Community Development is pleased to announce that the income guidelines and purchase price limits for its Homebuyers Assistance Program have increased effective immediately. The program provides loans for down payments and/or closing costs to low-income, first-time homebuyers within the city limits of Sioux Falls.

The amount of assistance that may be provided by the basic program varies from $1,000 to $6,000 depending upon income and financial need. The financial incentive for households to purchase properties within the core neighborhoods of Sioux Falls that began in July of 2007 continues. Households purchasing within that incentive zone may receive up to $12,000.
